According ICAO Doc 9859 Chapter 10 Appendix 2 para 1.7 a training for all employees has to be done for SMS training. It is also necessary to develop training files for each employee. Safety training has to be commensurate with individual’s involvement Some of the training will have a recency or qualification entitlement. CAR Sec1 Series C part 1. Safety training 12.2.1 A service provider shall, as part of its safety promotion activities, develop and maintain a safety training programme that ensures that personnel are trained and competent to perform their SMS duties. SMS II - IMPLEMENTATION Implementation course has a strong practical emphasis and is designed to provide a detailed understanding of the inner working aspects of SMS.
